Why pay more when you could cut running costs?

In order to optimize business processes and save costs, it is advisable to do the following:

  1. Check the agent determination. Is the vacation replacement regulated? Missing invoices either cause additional costs due to reminders or prevent the exploitation of discount savings potential. Project that over the whole year. A nice sum comes out of that.

  2. Analyze your blocking reasons and process blockers. For example, how many invoices from a particular vendor had to be processed again due to incorrect goods receipts?

  3. Examine your lead times. How often do price changes for the order take place during invoice verification? Faster lead times save not only costs, but also nerves!

  4. How high is the degree of automation of your digital business processes? Documents that have gone through further process steps without changes except for manual approval can be automated. 

  5. Maintain and clean your master data. Annoying duplicate entries slow down processes. Required master data can, for example, be checked and maintained based on frequency and use in invoice verification and the ordering process.
